Nestled in an oak-studded 40-acre vineyard, Roblar Winery is located in the heart of the beautiful Santa Ynez Valley, just 30 minutes from Santa Barbara. Our winery reflects the spirit of “The Valley” as we locals call it—rustic, authentic, and bold. Our philosophy is to foster a unique visitor experience: bringing together great wine, great food and great company.
Our signature varietals reflect the diverse growing conditions of the Santa Ynez Valley and include Estate-grown Sauvignon Blanc, Merlot, Semillon, Tempranillo, Sangiovese, and Grenache, along with a selection of blends and lighter dessert wines. Cool winds and fog from the Pacific Ocean to the west create Estate wines with firm structure, and excellent potential for aging.
Many California wineries focus their visitor experience on the wines alone. Here at Roblar, we take a different approach: our winemakers, Kerry Damskey and Bryan Davison, craft our wines to be enjoyed with food, prepared especially for you by our on-site executive chef.
Our Chef utilizes local, seasonal ingredients—many of which are grown right here on the Estate—to complement and guide you through the intricate flavor profiles of our wines. You can enjoy your tasting experience at the Tasting Bar, on the Terrace, or in our Dining Room. And, if you’d like company, the Chef is often available to guide you through each pairing.
Members of the Roblar Wine Club (Tasting, Connoisseur, Enthusiast, or Collectors level) also enjoy access to our second floor Members-only Tasting Lounge. Relax by the fireplace, or enjoy a glass of Roblar wine outside on the members’ patio, and watch the sun setting over the vineyards.
For those wanting to explore the Estate further, we offer complimentary guided tours through our winery and Estate vineyard. Tours are offered Friday to Sunday and depart from the Tasting Room at 11:30am, 12:30pm, 1:30pm, 2:30pm, and 3:30pm We can accommodate up to seven guests per tour in our motorized wagon.
